    Description

    5" x 7" signed photo of Alexander Knox.
    Acted as Woodrow Wilson and key roles in The Vikings, The Sea Wolf, and many other films.
    This comes with the original envelope cover showing where it was sent from Alexander Knox in Hollywood to the fan in Alabama.  Postmark does not show date, but I have several of these with other actors/actresses written to the same fan and the dated ones are from 1943-47 and I am certain this is also from that same period.
    It is in good condition.  I do not collect these so I don't know how these fan photos were signed - whether in person or some type of auto signer.
