Contrast Issues with Black & White Prints
Contrast issues do exist in old photographs, this is due to improper lighting, camera settings at the time the frame was captured as well as many other reasons,when it comes to composition, paying attention to the function of your foreground and background can be crucial to creating a great image, unfortunately not all photographers during the early 20th century were well trained, what this means, your darker areas will show no contrast, this can include the subject hair, clothing and much more, please pay close attention to the darker areas of the print, review the galley image carefully and look closely at the darker areas, during our restoration process we do attempt to adjust the contrast, unfortunately in some cases we cannot recover or correct contrast issues that were created during the original capture.

Damaged Prints
If you have received your prints damaged, please do not return them without first contacting us, in some cases you may not have to return your prints, we want to review your request before any prints are returned, a solution may be available after our review of your order, this will save time and money, in some cases you may be asked to photograph the damage caused by the USPS during shipping and provide us with the photograph, additionally you may be asked to tear the prints in half, photograph them and send us the picture of the torn prints rather then returning them, damaged prints in most cases are caused by mishandling from USPS and not our packaging; we ship thousands of prints each year worldwide and experience little to no damage caused by our packaging.
Discontinued Prints
Occasionally we may have to inform you that the print you ordered has been discontinued, this happens when an item we have discontinued remained on eBay in error, in the unlikely event this occurs you will receive an email titled discontinued print.
Quality Issues
Our prints must meet our quality standard, if a quality issue occurs you will be notified, you will have the option to receive a refund or you can replace with another print, in the unlikely event this occurs you will receive an email titled quality issue.
Missing or Incorrect Items
If you receive your order and it contains prints you did not order, please contact us as soon as possible, the correct prints will be sent immediately, we apologize if you experience this.
Packaging Your Items for Return
We ask that you securely package your items to avoid damage, use common sense when returning prints, if you are using the same packaging for a return, examine it, in some cases new packaging may be needed to get the prints back to us undamaged.
If it's Been Determined a Return is required
Login to your eBay account and navigate to your purchase, use the drop down menu and select return, follow the instructions, a shipping label will be generated by eBay, you will be able to print the label, when the tracking shows it has been returned we or eBay will automatically issue a refund.

Media Used to Create our Prints
We want to give you a clear understanding that not all prints will be balanced on 8x10 photo paper, this is due to the various sizes of media used to create our prints, film media used will differ in size, this can include 35mm, 2.25x2.25, 4x5, 5x7, 8x10 film negatives as well as some odd sizes, just as an example, if we print from a 2.25x2.25 film negative, the image will be 8x8 square and centered on the 8x10 photo paper, this is historically the correct orientation, please keep this in mind when ordering prints.
