Antique Philadelphia Steam Biscuit Bakery Biscuit Shipping Crate Box

Description

For auction is an antique biscuit crate or box from the Philadelphia Steam Biscuit Bakery. It has most of its original paper label on the front and there is more identifying information stenciled on the top. The crate is a little larger than most - 21 1/4" wide, 14" deep and 12 1/2" tall. It is in excellent condition with only minor flaws. All four corners have nice box joints and the hinges for the lid are still strong.
