This is an original, vintage 1941 8x10 Key Book** photo issued by RKO
studio for this Oscar-nominated classic directed by Orson Welles and considered by many film critics and fans alike to be the greatest film ever made.
This was Orson Welles' second film, and this one-of-a-kind Key Book photo comes from his personal collection/estate.
**The studio key book contained the master shots ( including from scenes later deleted from the film by RKO studio ) taken on the set during filming.  Welles kept the entire key book from The Magnificent Ambersons film until his death in 1985.   This photo will be accompanied by a copy of a letter of provenance stating that the photo is from his estate.  The letter is signed by his daughter.
A beautiful studio advance portrait image of Dolores Costello Barrymore and Joseph Cotten.  Original RKO studio stamp is on the rear of the photo with key book attachment at top border of photo.
