    Description

Hey Guys, up for sale here is my 1962 Marine Travelift. She is alot like my high school girlfriend, not the prettiest girl in the room but gets the job done every time!!!!!!
Powered by an Allis-Chalmers LP gas engine. Always fires right up and does the job.
Good old machine, I bought it about 15 years ago in Harbor Springs Michigan where it was bought new, so it has been a freshwater only machine since new. It has always gotten the job done for me around here, we used it mostly for unloading new boats and bottom wash/ bottom paint work here. We are getting out of the boat business so we are liquidating some of our equipment to sell the property.
I do have slings for it, they are not pictured, as I only used them a few times on some larger boats, they have always been stored inside. They were oldish when I bought this rig and now they are 15 years older. If you plan on maxing out the capacity of this lift I would recommend new slings, I'm sure these ones are just timed out.
It is fully functional as is, starts, runs, drives, steers, lifts, never overheats, just does what she's told, but has no brakes, never did when I got it, I had intentions of fixing that, but for my use it worked just fine as is. The tires on it are old and still have 15-16 plys in most spots, (20 ply tires) they looked like that when I bought it, I swore I would replace them but they still have the Michigan air in them that the came with so I never was "motivated" to change them. If I broke it down to move it, that is the one thing I would try to make a point of doing prior to reassembly but it does function as is, she is a real stand up girl.
It has an inside clear width of 15', inside clear height is 18'6". It is about 19' between front and rear slings, (wheel base) which is easily shortened about 5' if needed. When I moved it here I replaced all of the assembly nuts and bolts, so disassembly/reassembly should go pretty well.
I can assist with disassembly/loading free of charge If you "buy it now" for full asking price. If it sells for any less there will be an additional 00 for disassembly/loading. It weighs about 26,000 lbs and will fit on one semi flatbed no problem for shipping. It would also haul pretty nicely on 2 good size flatbed trailers behind a couple pick-up trucks if you are a DIY'er. That how I did it when I bought it.
    By the way
