Omano Polarizing Petrographic POL Trinocular Rotating Circular Stage Microscope

Description

Leitz 4x 0.12, 10x 0.25, 40x 0.65, and unbranded 20x 0.40 objectives.  Nikon CFWE 10x eyepieces.
The analyzer attachment has some free play.  The screws have been tightened, but the free play remains.  Upper rotating a
nalyzer and lower rotating polarizer rotate smoothly, however they are not marked properly.  When the upper polarizer is 90 degrees(according to markings) to the lower they are not actually at 90 degrees.  It must be offset to achieve full extinction.  Swing out condenser top lens is working well.  It must be swung out for the 4x objective to be fully illuminated.  When the XY stage is in place you cannot fully rotate the stage.  The objectives will make contact with the stage.  For full stage rotation you can either remove the two side objectives or remove the XY stage.  Crystal photos were taken with this scope in its current configuration.
