truck driver during the 1960's and 70's! This thin cardboard sign was intended as a store display or possibly a transportation/bus sign and measures approximately 22" x 14". This sign features bright red, yellow and brown colors and cleverly features a cuckoo clock accompanied by the
Archway Cookies
slogan:
"Anytime is Coo-ookie time!".
The company's recognizable logo is present as well.

Archway Cookies
is an American cookie manufacturer, founded in 1936 in
Battle Creek, Michigan
by
Ruth
and
Harold Swanson
. They both began baking soft oatmeal cookies and doughnuts out of their home's garage in Battle Creek. By the late 1940's, they had discontinued baking doughnuts and just concentrated on cookies. They had fifteen varieties of cookies by 1949. In the 1950's, they licensed their cookie recipes and began selling baking franchises in Indiana, Wisconsin and Canada.

the offered vintage sign is in very *Fine Shape* overall...I don't believe it was ever used for store display purposes! There is some age spotting in the bottom white border area, but nothing major here! I see
no
tape marks, staple holes or tack holes present!
