Rare 1920s German “Nonotte" litho hinged 50 cigarette tin in good condition

Description

This rare 1920s German “Nonotte" litho hinged 50 cigarette tin, measuring 3 1/4” x 4” x 1 1/4”, is in good condition with no rust, some pinpoint dents on the lid and some very minor age related paint scratches and chips.  The hinge is in excellent working order.  This highly attractive gray tin features an Art Deco image of a woman wearing a green hat, smoking a cigarette.
The cigarettes were manufactured by the Leopold Engelhardt Tobacco Company, Bremen, Germany and Cairo, Egypt.
Leopold Engelhardt was pivotal in making Egyptian tobacco popular in Europe.
