    This rare 1920s Swiss“Beer Byzanz” litho hinged 50 cigarette tin, measuring 5 1/2” x 4 1/4” x 7/8”, is in very good condition with no rust, a few small dents and some very minor age related paint chips and scratches. Most of the original high gloss finish remains. The hinge is in excellent working order. This highly attractive and decorative bright red, gold and black Art Deco tin features advertising for “Beer Byzanz” cigarettes.  The cigarettes were manufactured by Beer & Cie, Zurich, Switzereland.
