For sale- a TM Microscopes APSC-0100 Large Area Scanner, part number 00-107-1048.
TM Microscopes had been known as Thermomicroscopes when it was part of the Thermo Scientific empire, but was sold to VEECO and renamed.
But you already knew all that.
This part was purchased surplus from NASA along with a number of other TM Microscope pieces which I will list separately.
They had the main body of the scope in a different lot, but it looked to be missing pieces so when the bidding got too steep I had to let that go.
The surplus condition code on this would theoretically indicate it should be functional but I have absolutely no way to verify that.
Untested, sold as is, and NO warranty is offered.
However, IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem you cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it.
Returns are ONLY allowed on Buy It Now Purchases.
Accepted Best Offers are strictly an as is sale, no returns allowed.
Return would be for a refund of the purchase price, not including shipping costs.
Just so that we are clear on that, this is an item that has not been thoroughly tested.
As such it may work fine or it may have problems, so any purchase entails a certain degree of risk.
