Vintage W. S. George Pottery Company “Elois” Serving Bowl

Description

This vintage lusterware serving bowl measures approximately 9 ¾” in diameter and 1 ¾” in height.
It was produced by the W. S. George Pottery Company, a business established in 1910 in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, and another site in Kittanning, Pennsylvanian in 1914.
This bowl features a luster peach-colored finish with a vintage image of a woman driver, supposedly, “Elois”.
Embossed beading and bows are displayed around the scalloped rim.
The company’s ink stamp mark is located on the base including the name, “Elois”.
Despite some manufacturing flaws, overall crazing, a few scuffs/scratches, slight discoloration on the base and several chips on the underside of the rim, this charming bowl is in good condition with no other evidence of damage.
