Description
Vintage WS George 1940s Petalware Turquoise Gravy BoatFor consideration is this vintage gravy boat made by W.S. George Pottery Company in the 1940s. The pattern name is Petalware, the color is turquoise, and the shape is called Georgette which is a round shape with petals forming a scalloped edge. It is such a beautiful color and would definitely complement the older turquoise Fiestaware made by Homer Laughlin. It would also be great for serving other sauces, cream, salsa, etc.
This gravy boat measures 3 inches tall, 8 inches from spout to handle, across the top it is 3¼ inches wide and the base measures 4½ inches by 2¼ inches. The base has the W.S. George mark (see photos). It is in excellent vintage condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, repairs, scratches, discoloration or crazing noted. Buyer will pay Priority shipping on a 2 pound box. Thank you for looking!
